XSP, the leading global provider of Corporate Actions software, announced today the appointment of Ben Hopcroft as Senior Sales Executive and Account Relationship Manager for Emea.

Based in London, Hopcroft will be responsible for supporting the EMEA sales programme for the XSP® v5 Corporate Actions platform. Hopcroft will report to Chris Madigan, Senior Sales Executive and Account Relationship Manager.

Hopcroft joins XSP from Fiserv (formerly CheckFree), where he was responsible for expanding sales opportunities and promoting brand awareness for the company's Corporate Actions software solution for the European and AsiaPac markets. Prior to Fiserv, Hopcroft worked at Exchange Data International (EDI), whose data interface is supported by the XSP product, for over 11 years in Sales and Business Development roles. In addition to generating new business, Hopcroft gained a wealth of Corporate Actions industry knowledge, ranging from SWIFT ISO messaging standards to various data sets and financial technology systems.

Madigan commented, "We are delighted that Ben has joined XSP. Ben is a widely-recognised and well-respected professional in the Corporate Actions data and software space, particularly in the European and Asian markets. His solid industry background and understanding of our clients' unique demands in this increasingly-complex business will prove invaluable in meeting our clients' expectations and addressing their Corporate Actions processing requirements. As we continue to gain momentum globally, Ben will play a pivotal role in helping us to maximise our growth and expansion. We welcome Ben to XSP and look forward to his contributions to our organisation as well as our global client base."

Hopcroft said, "I am very excited to join an organisation that continues to grow and invest in the development, technology and people to further advance this market-leading product. Our global clients are the 'who's who' of the top financial industry firms and they require reliable, flexible and proven solutions that offer greater automation and efficiencies for this high-risk, specialised area of operations. The calibre of staff is a key distinguishing factor of XSP; the professionalism and expertise is second to none in the industry. With all the new developments and exciting sales opportunities for XSP, we are well positioned to continue broadening our global footprint around the world. I look forward to working with my colleagues across the organisation to maximise our growth opportunities."

Neil Sheppard, Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of EMEA at XSP, added, "Our clients today demand sophisticated and cutting-edge solutions that mitigate the risks and costs of global Corporate Actions processing to further accelerate their revenue growth. Ben's extensive knowledge in our industry will help our clients realise their return on investment by leveraging the customisable user interface design of the XSP platform. In addition, our global clients with multiple business entities can benefit from our multi-tenant enterprise solution across their entire organisation."
