First Data appoints Cláudio Rillo, head, IT, Brazil

First Data Corporation, a global leader in electronic commerce and payment processing, today announced it has appointed Cláudio Rillo as head of Information and Technology (IT), and Gustavo Dias as Legal Counsel for Brazil.

Cláudio Rillo will be responsible for First Data's IT organization in Brazil, which includes technology, data center and infrastructure divisions. Previously, Mr. Rillo held positions at American Express in the United States and in Brazil. Prior to American Express, he worked at IBM Global Services in the US. He received a degree in computer science from Florida State University and a degree in accounting from Pontifícia Universidade Católica in São Paulo.

Gustavo Dias will be responsible for First Data's legal affairs in Brazil. Before joining First Data, Mr. Dias worked as Legal Supervisor at Bank Lemon. He holds a degree in law and business administration from Centro de Ensino Unificado de Teresina and from Universidade Federal do Piauí. He earned a master's degree in business administration at Universidade de São Paulo.
