3i Infotech-Framework (Framework), the leading UK provider of software solutions to the global private equity community, has appointed Jeremy Ward to the position of Professional Services Director, effective immediately.

Jeremy's appointment is the first move made by a UK-based private equity specialist vendor to tackle the increasing complexities associated with managing the customer experience. With the international private equity markets continuing to remain in flux and with demand for portfolio management tools on the increase, the senior hire underlines the increasing importance software and service providers must place on understanding the changing demands of a rapidly maturing client base.

Jeremy, who will report directly to Managing Director Elspeth Goodchild, has overall responsibility for new customer installations and software upgrades for existing users, emphasising Framework's belief that service must go beyond the provision of technological expertise and must incorporate wider customer satisfaction and confidence.

Elspeth Goodchild, Managing Director, 3i Infotech - Framework, commented, "Jeremy joins Framework at a time when the business is rapidly expanding its footprint in the international private equity markets. To support this growth, we are investing heavily in improving the existing customer experience, to ensure that the services that we offer continue to meet the needs of a rapidly evolving customer base. With a strong mix of consultancy expertise and technological know-how, I look forward to working with Jeremy during this important stage of our businesses growth."

Jeremy Ward, Professional Services Director, 3i Infotech - Framework, added, "Framework is a rapidly expanding business working in an extremely fast moving and challenging area of the financial services marketplace. I look forward to working closely with the senior team to continue to build the business as we tackle the challenges and complexities at play within the international private equity markets."

Working most recently at a specialist technology consultancy for Microsoft-based solutions, Jeremy has a wealth of project and client management experience. Jer Jeremy will be based at Framework's new headquarters in Canary Wharf, following its office move earlier in the month.
