Sophis hires Marc Bothwell to lead iSophis product management

Sophis, a leading provider of cross-asset, front-to-back portfolio and risk management solutions, today announced it has appointed Marc Bothwell to head up product management for the company's iSophis product.

iSophis is a powerful technology solution that provides integrated portfolio and risk management services through an ASP model.

Marc has 17 years of experience in the asset management industry. He joins Sophis from Centre Asset Management, where he was a founding principal. Before Centre Asset Management, Marc worked as a portfolio manager, research analyst and risk manager in a career spanning several financial services companies, including Owenoke Capital, Credit Suisse and Chancellor LGT Asset Management. He has also designed and operated proprietary, fully-automated trading systems for large brokerage firms.

Marc holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and an M.B.A. in Finance and Statistics from New York University's Stern School of Business. Previously, Mr. Bothwell served as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Navy and as a pilot.
