Exactpro Systems, a consulting firm specialised in testing and development services for the securities trading sector, announces the appointment of Ms. Alyona Lamash as Head of its Risk Management Practice.

Ms. Lamash has highly developed skills in business analysis and in the testing of complex financial risk management and front office systems. Her experience as an analyst includes collateral management and risk management projects, as well as QA projects focused on financial logic validation.

Kirill Zagorouiko, Managing Director of Exactpro, comments: "We are excited that Alyona has joined us. Her knowledge and experience will add depth to our management team and will broaden the range of services we offer our customers. Our QA analysts combine a solid technology background with in-depth knowledge of business logic, including an understanding of the different types of financial instruments and complex valuation models. Now, our services include the testing of applications for risk measurement, risk monitoring, trade validation and limits management".

"Following the financial crisis, the quality and efficiency of risk management systems is even more crucial to the survival of financial services companies. The financial services industry and its regulators require rapid improvements in such areas as capital and liquidity management, counterparty risk management and stress testing. Changes in technology and market structure raise new risk handling concerns related to dark pools, sponsored access and high frequency trading. As a company specialised in advanced execution systems, Exactpro will carry out intensive research in these areas", adds Alyona Lamash.
