Voltage Security appoints Doug Dwyre VP, business development, payments

Voltage Security, the global leader in end-to-end data protection, today announced that Doug Dwyre, previously senior vice president of global business development at First Data Corporation, and a recognized industry expert, has joined the Voltage management team as vice president of business development, payments.

In his new role, Dwyre will focus on extending Voltage's data protection solutions, including Voltage SecureData(TM) end-to-end encryption, tokenization and data masking, in the payments industry through expanded strategic customer and partner relationships.

His strategic perspective, having served in numerous senior roles at one of the world's largest payment processors, will be invaluable as we continue to partner with industry leaders throughout the payments industry," said Sathvik Krishnamurthy, president and CEO of Voltage Security.

Dwyre joins Voltage after over thirteen years at First Data Corporation where he served as senior vice-president of business development for Prepaid and Loyalty and general manager for First Data Gift Card and First Data Loyalty solutions and most recently, senior vice-president of global business development. Prior to First Data, Dwyre spent over 10 years at Bank One in several roles, including internal audit, vehicle finance and merchant acquiring.

Dwyre has served on the board of the National Branded Prepaid Card Association and as a committee member for the ETA Strategic Leadership Networking Forum. He is a recognized industry expert and is frequently quoted and often speaks at industry conferences and events. Dwyre received a Bachelor of Science from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio.
