Experian names Jim Fitzpatrick global CIO

Experian, the global information services company, has appointed Jim Fitzpatrick as Global Chief Information Officer.

Fitzpatrick reports to Mike DeVico, Group President, Global Technology Services at Experian. As Global CIO, Fitzpatrick is responsible for the development and implementation of Experian's technology strategy and deployment policy, as well as enhancing service delivery quality and integrating global operations. His appointment follows the retirement of Mel Mason, former Experian Global CIO.

Fitzpatrick joins Experian from information technology consulting firm Integnology Inc., where he served as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to this position, he was Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Intuit Inc., where he drove the strategic use of technology to improve the company's offerings and service capabilities. Prior to Intuit, Fitzpatrick was a Senior Vice President at Sabre and American Express.

"Experian's data, software and analytics play a vital role in helping support established and emerging economies," said DeVico. "Jim's leadership will help further fuel the technology innovation that supports our people and clients around the globe."
