Kognitio hires Nigel Sanctuary and Bernie Hopkins

Business intelligence and data migration experts Kognitio today announced two new appointments. Nigel Sanctuary and Bernie Hopkins join as business intelligence proposition leader and senior data migration project manager, respectively.

Nigel will help Kognitio's clients drive more customer and shareholder value from their data, by leveraging his knowledge and experience in business intelligence, financial services and marketing. Prior to Kognitio, Nigel held senior marketing positions for GE Capital Global Consumer Finance before specialising in analytical Customer Relationship Management and business intelligence at top consulting firms, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Atos KPMG and Unisys. He has managed projects for companies such as Barclaycard, LloydsTSB, Norwich Union and Caja Madrid.

Bernie will hold a lead role on Kognitio's Data Migration team. He has 25 years experience running IT projects and business change programmes for the financial services industry. Previously he worked at Rand Information Systems Limited, where he led more than 20 application and data migrations for insurance companies including Standard Life, Norwich Union and Abbey Life. Bernie also spent 18 months as an independent consultant auditing financial services programmes, where he assessed compliance with BASEL II and IAS regulations.
