Belzberg Technologies Inc. (TSX:BLZ) announces today that J. Stephen Wilson has tendered his resignation as Chief Financial Officer of the Company as of February 7th, 2005, in order to pursue other business opportunities.
The Company also announces that Richard Maisel, currently Controller of the Company, will replace Mr. Wilson as Chief Financial Officer of the Company.
Richard Maisel is a chartered accountant and holds an honors degree in finance. He has past experience as a director of finance of public and private companies in the technology industry. Over the past three years he has been the corporate controller of Belzberg Technologies Inc. Mr. Maisel will continue focusing on the Company's major cost cutting initiatives currently underway, including the replacement of third party data vendors with fast, direct exchange data feeds.
The Company thanks Mr. Wilson for his contribution and wishes him well in his future endeavours.
