Interactive Data promotes Liz Duggan to managing director, evaluations

Interactive Data Corporation (NYSE: IDC - News), a leading provider of financial market data, analytics and related solutions to financial institutions, active traders and individual investors, today announced that Elizabeth Duggan has been promoted to managing director of the Company's Evaluations organization. Duggan, 44, has held a variety of management positions at Interactive Data, serving most recently as chief operating officer, Evaluations since January 2009. She reports directly to Mark Hepsworth, president of Interactive Data's Institutional Business.

Interactive Data supports thousands of financial institutions worldwide, ranging from central banks to large investment banks, with daily evaluations spanning more than 2.8 million fixed income and international equity securities. During the past year, Duggan has helped lead initiatives to further enhance and expand the Company's evaluated pricing services, broaden overall market coverage, provide more transparency to evaluation services and bring new talent into the organization.

Mark Hepsworth stated, "Liz has been a high-impact leader since joining Interactive Data 10 years ago. During the past decade, she has held a range of operational and client-facing roles that have helped drive the growth of our Evaluations business and ensure a high level of communication with major clients, regulators and industry bodies. Duggan joined Interactive Data in 1999 following the acquisition of Muller Data, a municipal bond pricing specialist business. Since then, Duggan has worked in several roles within the Company. From 2003 until December 2008, Duggan was vice president, market specialists, a role in which she cultivated client relationships and made valuable contributions to the growth of the Company's Institutional Business. Duggan was promoted to chief operating officer of the Evaluations organization in January 2009. She is a graduate of Pace University.

Duggan succeeds Shant Harootunian as managing director. Harootunian recently departed Interactive Data.
