EDB Business Partner has appointed Jan Erik Larsen (49) as Executive Vice President Sales and Business Development.
Larsen will be a member of EDB's executive management team and takes up his appointment shortly.
Jan Erik Larsen joins EDB from Software Innovation ASA, where he held the position as executive manager of the consulting and solutions division. Larsen was, previous to that, CEO of the OSE-listed company TeleComputing ASA, and has held several senior and board positions within the technology sector in the Nordics.
Jan Erik Larsen will be responsible for the new business area Sales & Business Development in EDB. The business area is established 1 January as part of the reorganizing of EDB. To ensure a better service of all customers, EDB is organizing all sales and business development activities in one entity.
After the reorganization, the members of EDB's executive management team is President and CEO Endre Rangnes and Executive Vice Presidents John-Arne Haugerud (IT operations), Ole Urdahl (Solutions), Jan Erik Larsen (Sales & Business Development), Urban Doverholt (EDB Sweden), Tore Valderhaug (CFO), Vibeke Nyvold (HR), Oddgeir Hansen (COO) and Reidar Gjærum (Communications and marketing).
