Applied Card Technologies appoints Rob Martin channel manager

Applied Card Technologies Ltd (ACT) a leading provider of smart card solutions has appointed Rob Martin as channel manager.
Rob will be responsible for generating new revenue streams in the retail sector for ACT's loyalty systems. He will also maximise relationships with existing UK partners.
Rob brings 17 years of global sales experience in IT, business and retail sectors. He joins ACT from Dione plc, a worldwide supplier of smart card payment systems and managed services. As international channel manager, he was responsible for developing and driving global business. This included establishing blue chip distributors in Australia, Turkey, UAE, Indonesia, the US and supplying terminals to South Africa's largest acquirer.
Rob was also part of the Dione team responsible for increasing revenues by 70% and transforming the company into the UK's number one terminal supplier for chip and pin solutions.
