XSP, the leading global provider of Corporate Actions software, announced today that Laura Martinez has rejoined the company as a Senior Product Manager for its flagship solution, the XSP platform.

Martinez, who held a Co-Chair position on the ISITC Corporate Actions Working Group during her tenure at XSP, returns to the company to add further depth and value to the industry's leading SWIFT ISO Corporate Actions processing solution. Based in Birmingham, AL, Martinez will report to Jennifer Bush, Senior Director of Product Innovation and Major Accounts.

"Laura is a valuable asset to our team and we are delighted to welcome her back to XSP," commented Bush. "She has an outstanding reputation in the industry, particularly for her SWIFT Messaging expertise, and her extensive XSP product knowledge will provide further benefits to our global client base. As our product continues to grow to support the industry's evolving standards, Laura's in-depth Corporate Actions knowledge will help to build and manage this growth."

Comprised of 1,500 individuals from 350 companies worldwide, ISITC is an industry trade group focused on standards in transaction processing and related communications. Martinez is an active participant and contributor to the ISITC Corporate Actions Working Group. She works closely with Paul Fullam, Senior Director of Business Strategy at XSP and incumbent Co-Chair of the ISITC Corporate Actions Working Group, to collaborate with fellow ISITC members for the purpose of harmonizing messaging standards and promoting greater straight-through processing in Corporate Actions.

Genevy Dimitrion, Chair of ISITC said, "ISITC encourages members to actively engage in working groups for complex areas such as Corporate Actions. We are delighted that Laura has decided to resume her role at XSP and her participation in the working group. Her expertise and invaluable input in SWIFT ISO Messaging and Corporate Actions greatly contributes to our initiatives towards revolutionizing securities processing. ISITC appreciates XSP's continued support and we welcome the collective feedback and ideas that Paul and Laura bring to our industry."

"I am delighted to be back at XSP and excited about the forward direction of the company and product," said Martinez. "During the brief time since my departure, XSP continues to develop and advance in all areas of the organization. I truly missed the excitement of working for such a progressive software company; the dynamic team comprised of my talented colleagues and the global network of high-caliber industry professionals from ISITC and the XSP client base. XSP is well positioned to continue reshaping the landscape of global Corporate Actions automation and I want to be part of this ongoing success. The opportunity to rejoin XSP is incredibly rewarding, both personally and professionally."

Martinez returns to XSP from EBSCO Industries, where she was Senior Product Manager for one year. She previously served as Principal Product Manager at XSP responsible for ensuring that the company's flagship solution complies with global Securities Market Practice Group (SMPG) initiatives. Martinez reviewed all changes to the SWIFT standards and SMPG guidelines to determine the impact of these changes to the XSP system. She also reviewed all changes made to the XSP system to determine what impact the changes may have on the processing of ISO messages. In addition, Martinez managed the company's research and development initiatives to facilitate introduction of new functionality to the XSP system.

Prior to joining XSP, Martinez served as Business Analyst at Source Medical. Additionally, her previous experience includes a position as IT Manager at Healthsouth, where she worked on various technology initiatives including the re-engineering of the company's intranet site to streamline processing.

Martinez holds an Accounting degree from the University of Alabama in Birmingham.
