Speaking on the appointment, Matt Parkinson, Catalyst's Managing Director, said, "We are excited to welcome James to Catalyst, he brings many strengths in Financial Markets Technology that complement our existing Financial Markets expertise significantly"

Before joining Catalyst James was a Partner at Capco and sat on their Regional Management Team. This, coupled with his strong vendor relationships with market leading applications will increase Catalyst's position in the system integration space.

"James's appointment will further strengthen the services we offer our Capital Markets clients. It underscores Catalyst's strong position in this space and is in line with ABeam's goal when they acquired Catalyst to build a Global Financial Services organisation" said Greg Davis, Co-Head of ABeam's Global Financial Services practice.
