VerifySmart, a global provider of secure and fraud free payment processing services, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. John Novak to the Board of Advisors.
Mr. Novak joins VSC with over 30 years of business and entrepreneurial success. His multi-national relationships will facilitate the introduction of decision makers to the VSC business model at the highest levels. He has created and led lucrative companies in sectors as diverse as manufacturing, real estate development, information technology (IT), and product distribution.
His many accomplishments include a senior advisory role to the Managing Director of the Creditanstaltbank (Austria) where he consulted on privatization matters in Eastern Europe and a position as Chairman and President of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Central and Eastern Europe. He is currently the Managing Director, President, CEO, and co-founder of CBp Carbon Industries Inc., a 'green' company with operations in Central and Eastern Europe, the European Union, and North America. Mr. Novak is also the President of Prime Interactive SRO, one of the largest and oldest European web hosting service companies. Prime Interactive entered into an agreement with VSC disclosed in VSC's news release of April 6, 2009.
This significant appointment will bring Mr. Novak's extensive experience and large network of key decision makers into the company. Mr. Novak's banking and financial sector expertise we believe will accelerate the VSC expansion plan and ensure a solid footing in the European and North American markets as VSC continues to strive to become the premiere provider of financial transaction fraud prevention solutions across the globe.
