Reval appoints Nigel Sirett MD, Emea

Reval, a global leader in derivative risk management and hedge accounting solutions and services today announced the appointment of Nigel Sirett as Managing Director, Emea.

With more than 20 years experience in derivatives and treasury and risk management, Nigel will be responsible for driving Reval's aggressive growth strategy within EMEA markets.

This appointment comes as part of Reval's proven expansion strategy of hiring subject matter experts with core industry knowledge to further broaden Reval's reach and solidify its market leading position and thought leadership within the derivative risk management and hedge accounting space.

Nigel joins Reval from QuIC Financial, where he was responsible for EMEA sales, focused on counterparty credit exposure and structured derivative valuation. Prior to QuIC, Nigel was Managing Director EMEA at Fiserv IPS-Sendero, where he led sales, consulting and client services teams based in London, Frankfurt, Milan and Warsaw. He has consulted and advised a diverse range of financial institutions across Europe, the Middle East and Africa on risk management, asset-liability management and associated technology and is a frequent speaker at industry events. Nigel also brings extensive asset-liability management and treasury experience from various senior management roles at HSBC Midland and Midland Montagu. He holds a Master of Science in Operational Research and a Bachelor of Science in Management Science from the London School of Economics and Political Science, University of London.
