Fiserv appoints Erik Stein to new anti-fraud post
Fiserv, Inc. (NASDAQ: FISV), a leading provider of information technology services to the financial industry, today announced that Erik Stein has joined Fiserv as Vice President of Solutions Architecture, Fraud and Compliance Solutions. In this newly created position, Stein will be responsible for driving anti-fraud innovation and strategy for solutions serving Fiserv clients.

He has extensive experience managing fraud operations within financial institutions as well as providing fraud solutions to financial institutions."

Stein has more than twenty years of experience in fraud and risk management, most recently a senior director of Global Fraud Product Management at Fair Isaac Corporation. His role involved driving product direction by determining market needs, creating strategic roadmaps, and specifying functional requirements for a suite of fraud-related products. Prior to Fair Isaac, Stein was executive vice president and director of Fraud Risk Management for a major mortgage provider. Within the company Stein was charged with enhancing the company's fraud prevention, detection, investigation and mitigation systems and processes.
Stein also held strategic risk management and technology positions, including Chief Risk Officer for PayMyBills.com, an Internet electronic bill presentment and payment (EBPP) provider where he managed a range of Internet operating risks, including payments/settlement, identification and authentication.
