AlphaMetrix, a research and investment platform for managed futures and other liquid alpha strategies, today announced the launch of AlphaMetrix Financial Investigations.

The new due diligence group complements AlphaMetrix Alternative Investment Advisors, overseen by Dr. Ranjan Bhaduri, which provides ongoing research on over 1,000 individual managed futures and liquid alpha programs.

AlphaMetrix Financial Investigations is headed by David Fisher, Managing Director, a 24-year veteran of the U.S. Secret Service.

The group is responsible for conducting comprehensive background investigations of trading managers and their companies, as part of AlphaMetrix's overall due diligence process. With today's heightened awareness of the risks associated with poor due diligence, AlphaMetrix Financial Investigations will also offer its comprehensive security services to outside organizations, such as institutional investors, exchanges, banks and more.

"AlphaMetrix has always been known for our deep trading manager research capabilities, and the new Financial Investigations group takes that to an even higher level, with comprehensive background checks and reviews of operational risk," said Aleks Kins, CEO of AlphaMetrix.

"This type of due diligence work takes a consummate professional, so we are particularly excited to have someone of David Fisher's caliber on board to build AlphaMetrix Financial Investigations into a thriving organization," he added.
