VocaLink names Edith Rigler director, business development

VocaLink, the payment transaction specialist, has further strengthened its senior team with the appointment of Edith Rigler as Director of Business Development.

Edith brings over 25 years' experience in transaction banking to the company having previously held senior positions at HSBC, Deutsche Bank and Citibank. Recently she has held similar roles at the EBA.

Before joining VocaLink Edith ran her own company, implementing a number of projects for the Euro Banking Association in Frankfurt. Prior to this, she worked for HSBC as Programme Director of its SEPA and PSD projects. This followed a position as Global Head for Account Payables and Receivables at Deutsche Bank. She has also worked for Chase Manhattan Bank and for Citibank Europe, where she managed customer groups in the bank's global custody area and was involved with several European initiatives, including the introduction of the Euro.
