On 1st November 2008 Dirk Brunke assumed responsibility for the expansion of easycash's acquiring division.

In this role Mr. Brunke will report directly to Marcus W. Mosen, Managing Director of easycash Holding GmbH.

Against the background of the creation of a single payment area in Europe (SEPA), easycash is going to intensify efforts to position itself as a solution provider. The company focuses in offering retailers a complete service spectrum from one source. So far easycash relies on its own solutions in the acquiring area, such as the online direct debit (OLV). Cooperation with other partners shall be further extended. Mr. Brunke will work toward promoting projects in both directions for the requirements in the "card-present" area as well as in e-commerce.

From 2007 Dirk Brunke had worked as Director Products and Services with a payment service provider in London. In that role he also gained extensive experience in the area of regulated payment transactions. Mr. Brunke has worked in the payment transactions industry since 2000. The 37-year old acted as consultant and project manager in the internationalisation of Pago eTransaction Services GmbH/Deutsche Bank in Cologne. He switched to head up business development there in 2004.

"I am looking forward to the challenges ahead of me here at easycash", commented Mr. Brunke. "To be able to play a part in important developments such as the SEPA from the position of market leader represents a real opportunity. It is important that we continue to expand easycash's position in the international arena both at the point-of-sale as well as in e-commerce."

"In Dirk Brunke we have acquired a proven expert. With his experience in the areas of e-commerce, acquiring and international payment projects, he is a valuable addition to our management team", said Marcus W. Mosen, Managing Director of easycash Holding GmbH, of the new management appointment.
