NFS appoints Jeroen van Gelderen senior business manager, Europe

Nordic Financial Systems (NFS), the provider of technical and business integration services to the treasury industry, today announced the appointment of Jeroen van Gelderen as a Senior Business Manager serving its European customer base.

Van Gelderen joins from Zanders and Partners, where he gained detailed knowledge of treasury operations and systems, including Trema Finance KIT, working on projects with banks, pension funds, state treasuries and corporates in Germany, Luxembourg, Slovakia and the Netherlands.

Speaking on his appointment, van Gelderen commented, "During my five years in treasury, I have worked alongside NFS consultants on a number of occasions and the company's professionalism and international focus appealed to me greatly. The treasury industry is going through great change at the moment and I feel that IAS 39 compliance poses one of the biggest challenges. I look forward to being able to put my experience to the test, helping NFS clients deal with the issues posed by IAS 39 and other operational pressures effectively, while furthering my experience by working with some of the world's leading industry professionals."
