Leading security solutions provider, Cryptomathic, has announced the launch of a new office in Montréal, Canada.
With an established office network throughout Europe, the opening of the new location is part of Cryptomathic's global expansion strategy to provide US and Canadian customers with local business and technical support.
Boris Schumperli will head up the Canadian operation. With over ten years' consulting experience in the smart card security industry, Boris has worked in both the financial and telecoms sectors, specialising in EMV migration and Key Management Systems (KMS) technology. Boris' accumulated wealth of expertise will enable him to work closely with Cryptomathic's existing clients within the region.
Professor Peter Landrock, Executive Chairman of Cryptomathic, comments: "There is currently high demand for security solutions within the North American banking sector. In particular, we have witnessed increasing orders for EMV data preparation solutions for contact and contactless payment cards, as well as automated key management systems, two-factor authentication technologies and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) expertise. With an increasing number of clients based in North America, it is logical for Cryptomathic to establish a presence in the region to monitor market trends and ensure the highest level of service delivery."
Peter concludes: "Due to high market demand, Cryptomathic's established regional visibility, and the wealth of security solutions experience and regional knowledge offered by our international network, we expect the North American office to be extremely successful and expand rapidly."
