Asset Control appoints John Mitchell North American sales director

Asset Control, a world-wide leader in financial data management solutions, announced today that John Mitchell has joined the company as North American sales director based in New York.

Mr. Mitchell will be responsible for generating new business and expanding Asset Control's regional presence for its centralized reference and financial data management solution for financial institutions.

Mr. Mitchell has more than 25 years of experience marketing, selling and leading organizations focused on technology solutions and consulting services for financial services companies and other businesses. Prior to Asset Control, he was vice president of sales at Fortent, a provider of risk and compliance solutions for financial institutions, and before that was vice president of global sales and marketing at Bradmark Technologies, a database management software company. Mr. Mitchell spent 18 years at IBM in London and New York, where he managed a strategic consulting practice for financial institutions worldwide. He had also served as president and chief executive officer for both a consulting and software education services company, and a specialized marketing company serving advanced technology organizations.
