Syscap the UK's leading independent IT finance provider, appoints Tim Canham as Sales Director.
In charge of Syscap's flow business in relation to the channel, vendor programmes, core business and public sector, Canham is responsible for ensuring the company's sales objectives are met, refining and improving sales process and delivery and implementing new sales strategies.
With a leasing career spanning 20 years, Canham joined Syscap from Universal Leasing where he was one of the founding directors. Prior to this, Tim gained experience by working with a number of mainstream lessors including Barclays, Woodchester LMS and CitiCapital. He was also Deputy Chairman of The Finance & Leasing Association Technology Group from 2003 to 2007.
"Tim's appointment follows a lengthy and rigorous recruitment process and is a key element in the continued growth and development of the business as we progress plans for the coming years", says Philip White, Chief Executive Officer at Syscap. "Over the coming weeks Tim will, along with the senior sales management team, be integral in planning the FY09 sales strategy, and will support the business as we draw closer to year-end."
