Bringing over 20 years experience in the financial services sector, Mike will be responsible for the back office operation for Raphaels, in particular developing and re-engineering business processes and systems. He is also Raphaels' FSA Compliance Officer.

Mike joined Raphaels Bank from Ruffler Bank, where he was Finance Director and Compliance Officer, as well as project director for the implementation of a new system to manage the Banks operations. Prior to this, he spent six years at Singer & Friedlander Finance, as Finance Director, where he was involved in all aspects of senior management of the company. His successful career includes a range of top level financial positions, managing major projects to enhance the business operations through strategic changes to systems and processes.

"Raphaels has grown significantly in the last two years, both in term of volume of business and the range of activities undertaken, making this an exciting time to step into this position" confirmed Mike Bailey. "This is a great opportunity for me because Raphaels is an organisation with a clear corporate direction and the senior figures recognise the need to invest in people and systems as part of the overall business development plan."

David Stewart, Director & General Manager, Raphaels Bank concludes, "Mike is a highly experienced Operations Director and will play a key role in maintaining, improving and developing Raphaels' operations. His deep understanding of financial systems means he can ensure our systems will meet the demands of the major growth that is being achieved by Raphaels. Plus Mike has a wealth of compliance experience, making him the ideal person to head up this key aspect of the business."
