Nymex promotes three to SVP; eight to VP

The board of directors of NYMEX Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: NMX), parent company of the New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc., recently promoted De'Ana Dow, Anthony Filoso, and Arthur McCoy to senior vice president and promoted Anthony Densieski, William Doherty, Kurt Ehrlich, Jonathan Elks, Thomas Holleran, Christopher Longobucco, Nicholas Mehnert, and Carla Seales-Penn to vice president.

Ms. Dow, who joined NYMEX in 2005, was named chief legislative counsel. She began her legal career at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) where she served as counsel to Chairman William Rainer, under the Clinton Administration, special advisor to Chairman James E. Newsome, under the Bush Administration, as well as a number of other supervisory and staff positions throughout her 22 years of service there. Upon leaving the CFTC, she was hired as associate vice president and counsel in the market regulation department of the NASD, where she oversaw the futures regulatory program. Ms. Dow received her bachelors degree from Bowie State University and her juris doctor degree from the Georgetown University Law Center. She is a member of the Washington D.C. Bar Association.

Mr. Filoso was named senior vice president of finance. He joined NYMEX in 2004 as director of Securities and Exchange Commission reporting and taxation and most recently held the position of vice president of finance and corporate controller. Prior to NYMEX, he served as director of financial reporting for Nautica Enterprises, Inc., a publicly held clothing manufacturer, where his responsibilities included SEC reporting, corporate tax matters, mergers and acquisitions, transfer agent reporting and administration of the company's stock option plan. Mr. Filoso also worked as a senior manager for Marks Paneth & Shron LLP, a mid-sized public accounting firm, where he performed audit and tax work specializing in commercial and residential real estate. He has a bachelor of arts in accounting from Queens College of the City University of New York and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Mr. McCoy was promoted to senior vice president of compliance and risk management. He has served at NYMEX since 1990 and is responsible for the implementation and enforcement of NYMEX's financial integrity and safeguard systems. Prior to NYMEX, he was a vice president at First Boston Corporation. He has also worked with the National Futures Association (NFA), D.E. Jones Commodities, Inc., and COMEX. Mr. McCoy is the current chairman and founding member of the futures industry's derivatives clearing organization risk committee, which provides a forum to exchange best practice risk management policies and procedures and sits on several panels at the NFA. Mr. McCoy holds a bachelor of science degree in accounting from Fairfield University in Connecticut and is a licensed certified public accountant in the State of New York. He also served as an instructor at the New York Institute of Finance for 15 years where he taught a futures accounting course.

Mr. Densieski was named vice president of market surveillance. He joined NYMEX in 2000 with than 20 years of energy industry experience. His role is to oversee the preservation of the economic functions of the futures markets, detect and deter market manipulation, prevent customer and market abuses, and prosecute any violators. Mr. Densieski's previous experience entailed marketing, storage and trading at various physical market petroleum firms in the Middle East, West Africa, Europe and the Americas, including CCL Oil, Ltd., Genesis Petroleum Corp., Delphi Petroleum, Inc., Transworld Oil USA, Inc., and Northville Industries Corp. He served a continuous member of the NYMEX petroleum delivery committee from 1978 to 2000 and was a NYMEX member.

Mr. Doherty, who joined NYMEX in 1984, was appointed vice president of risk management. His responsibilities include the implementation and enforcement of NYMEX's risk safeguard systems, with an emphasis on performance bond setting, value-at-risk analysis on both macro and micro levels, as well as stress testing on these levels. Mr. Doherty also monitors options settlements and is a voting member on the COMEX gold, silver, and copper options settlement committees and the NYMEX calendar spread and crack spread options settlement committees. Prior to joining NYMEX, he was an accountant at The Dreyfus Corporation, a global provider of investment management products and services. Mr. Doherty is a founding member of the industry's derivatives clearing organization risk committee. He holds a bachelor of science degree in accounting and finance from Monmouth University.

Mr. Ehrlich was promoted to vice president of clearing systems in the information technology department. He joined COMEX in 1984 as a metals delivery clerk and worked in computer operations then director of trade matching and clearing systems. He joined NYMEX in 1994, when NYMEX and COMEX merged. Prior to his work with the exchanges, Mr. Ehrlich worked for a software accounting firm. He attended University of Pennsylvania and earned a bachelor of arts from Trenton State College. He lives in Middletown, New Jersey with wife, Pam, and triplets, Hayley, Kelly, and Tyler.

Mr. Elks, who joined NYMEX in 2006, was named vice president of Sarbanes Oxley. He is responsible for all aspects of SOX compliance program reporting and transitioned the program from a fully outsourced function to being in-house supported. He began his career at KPMG, working in Australia and the United States, managing the audit of Australian firm's largest client. He also served as the head of finance at a division of Pacific Dunlop Ltd., a multinational consumer products company and senior vice president of risk management and assurance at Telstra Corporation, the largest full service telecommunications company in the Southeast Asian region, before he relocated to the United States in 2002 after accepting the position of senior vice president of risk management and assurance at Cablevision Systems Corp. Mr. Elks holds a bachelors degree in business from Swinburne University, Melbourne Australia; is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia; and has completed the Advanced Management Program at the Wharton Business School.

Mr. Holleran was promoted to vice president of marketing. Since joining NYMEX in 2006, he has been responsible for marketing energy products, as well as a new product slates including the Green Exchange, index futures products and catastrophe risk futures. Mr. Holleran has worked in the futures industry for 22 years. He was a limited partner in GA Futures, an electricity brokerage firm that executed brokerage in PJM electricity and served as vice president of Emissions at Prebon Energy. Mr. Holleran was the senior emissions broker at O2Blue, an environmental brokerage firm and was a NYMEX member and independent trader who executed brokerage and trading for his own account on the NYMEX floor for 18 years. He is currently pursuing a bachelor of science in business administration.

Ms. Klare, who was promoted to vice president of finance, joined NYMEX in 2004 as director of accounting and finance. She is responsible for the company's financial analysis and planning, the annual budget, forecast, and internal reporting. Prior to NYMEX, she served as director of corporate finance for the Linkshare Corporation, a privately held internet affiliate marketing company. While at Linkshare her responsibilities included all financial analysis, and external and internal planning, as well as the company's cash management including monitoring liquidity, optimizing cash, and managing risk. Ms. Klare also served as the director of business development for Vision Twenty-One, a publicly held health care company, where she assisted in the company's initial public offering and merger's and acquisitions activities. She holds a bachelor of science in accounting from University of South Florida.

Mr. Longobucco was promoted to vice president of project management and IS governance. He joined NYMEX in 2004 and has served as a Sarbanes Oxley consultant, director of internal audit, and director of information technology operations. He currently oversees information technology operations and manages the project management group. He was previously employed in the project management office of ADP's fixed income group and chief financial officer of Always-On, Inc. Mr. Longobucco has also worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers, Deutsche Bank, American Express Co., TimeWarner, Inc., MetLife HealthCare Management Corp., and Arthur Andersen & Co. He earned both a master in business administration and a bachelor of science in accounting from Southern Methodist University.

Mr. Mehnert was named vice president of billing administration and technology planning. Since he joined NYMEX in 2000, he has led the development of the NYMEX e-Billing System, coordinated market maker programs, managed billing support to clearing members, and performed reviews of clearing procedures to ensure compliance with approved standards and processes. Previously, he served as a registered representative and clerk for Walter J. Dowd, a member of the New York Stock Exchange, where he executed index and risk arbitrage trades, worked in trade break resolution and was responsible for customer billing. He also worked as a trouble desk associate for W&D Securities. Mr. Mehnert earned a bachelor of science in business management from Manhattan College.

Mrs. Seales Penn was promoted to vice president of information services finance and budgeting. She manages the information technology (IT) annual budget process and overseas the department's expenditures. She joined NYMEX in 2001 as a senior financial analyst in finance then transitioned to the IT department and acted primarily as a liaison between IT and finance before she advanced to director of IT budget and administration. Prior to NYMEX, she served as a financial planning analyst for the Depository Trust & Clearing Corp, where she prepared operating costs for business units, conducted cost/benefit and profit/loss analyses on products and services. Mrs. Seales Penn also held accounting positions at Crown Central Petroleum and Mendes & Mount, LLP. She earned a masters of business administration in finance from St. John's University and a dual bachelor of arts degree in accounting and economics from Queens College at the City University of New York.
