Zealous names Joseph Ranieri MD, equity capital markets

Zealous Trading Group (OTCBB: ZLST, ZATS;; see merger information in About Zealous Trading Group below), has appointed Joseph S. Ranieri as the Managing Director of Equity Capital Markets.

Mr. Ranieri has spent the last 12 years at Canaccord Adams (and its predecessor Adams Harkness Hill) in Boston where he served as an Equity Trader, Vice President, Principal, and most recently Managing Director of U.S. Equity Trading for the last 7 years. Prior to joining Adams Harkness in 1995, he was an Equity Trader at Weeden and Company as well as Troster, Singer & Company.

Mr. Ranieri is recognized as a trading expert at leading news outlets and has been frequently seen on CNBC, Fox Business and Bloomberg TV. In addition, he has often been quoted in daily publications such as The Wall Street Journal, New York Times, CNBC.com, and the Financial Times. He graduated from Bentley College with a B.S. in Economics, and earned an MBA in Financial Management from Binghamton University.
