ID Analytics appoints Peter Hopfensperger chief customer officer

ID Analytics, Inc., the leader in Identity Risk Management, today announced that Peter J. Hopfensperger has joined the company as chief customer officer.

Hopfensperger has nearly 25 years of experience in sales and business development, having dedicated his career to meeting complex customer needs across a wide variety of industries.

"Pete brings a wealth of relevant experience. We are pleased to have him join our team as we accelerate our business goals across new solutions and markets," said Bruce Hansen, ID Analytics' chairman and CEO. "Pete's extensive strategic selling experience coupled with his background in risk management and marketing of products and services will help us strengthen our presence in the markets we currently serve. He will also assist in extending our capabilities into new markets, helping those customers drive incremental revenue, reduce losses and protect their brand reputation."

Most recently, Hopfensperger was vice president of strategic client services for Equifax, responsible for all product and service sales to top national accounts. Prior to Equifax, Hopfensperger served as senior vice president of sales for Experian where he was responsible for a national sales force of hundreds of associates. He also successfully restructured the sales organization into industry vertical markets including financial services, consumer products, retail, catalog, media and emerging markets. Prior to Experian, Hopfensperger held a variety of business development and senior sales positions with leading credit bureaus and data providers including Acxiom, TransUnion and Message Media, Inc.

"ID Analytics has an excellent customer reputation throughout the financial services, communications, healthcare and government sectors," said Hopfensperger. Hopfensperger will report to Hansen and oversee all direct and channel sales, partnership development and relationship management efforts. Dennis Manning, ID Analytics' vice president of sales, Michelle Wheeler, ID Analytics' vice president of strategic relationships, and Paul Norton, strategic account director, government, will report to Hopfensperger.
