SIA-SSB names Paolo Ghia as head of HR, organisation and quality

Paolo Ghia is the new Head of SIA-SSB's Human Resources, Organization and Quality.

Born in Naples 49 years ago, he graduated in Law from Milan State University in 1983.

His appointment as Director of the Human Resources, Organization and Quality division of SIA-SSB responds to the objective of supporting and strengthening the management capacity in the transformation process connected to the establishment of the new Group, operative as of May 1st in the sectors of credit and debit card processing, payment systems, capital markets and network services for connectivity and value added data transport.

Ghia arrives from BNL- BNP Paribas Group, where from 2004 he held the positions of Human Resources Director in the Operations Department and Head of Collective Management within the Group's Human Resources Division.

Previously he was also Human Resources Director at Fastweb (from 2000 to 2003), where he was responsible for the start-up phase, at Oracle (from 1997 to 2000) and Castrol (from 1993 to 1997).

He began his professional career in 1984 as Trade union relations, training and recruitment manager at Rockwell CVC (a joint venture between Fiat and Rockwell International); he subsequently gained further experience in the HR field at Grace Italiana.
