Potter brings 20 years of technical and managerial experience in the market data software industry to Wombat, initially gained at Rich Inc. and subsequently at Reuters. Beginning as a systems engineer, Potter rose through a spectrum of roles encompassing product delivery, project management, desktop design and launch management.

Throughout his career implementing market data trading systems Jim helped pioneer the adoption of video switches and as the technology evolved, the first digital market data systems on Wall Street. He was also key to introducing each new generation of Reuters datafeeds and desktops. As Reuters acquired other market data system technologies, he was also instrumental in the integration of not only the technology and client bases, but attracted top talent for their technical staff as well.

Potter's addition supports Wombat's continuing assembly of the finest team of market data engineers in the industry.
