NYSE Euronext today announced that Olivier Lefebvre has expressed his intention, after 12 years in the exchange world, to pursue new personal projects.
He will be leaving the company after his successor is appointed.
Olivier Lefebvre said: "I am very proud to have contributed to the creation of a truly innovative model of exchange. After nearly twelve years at the exchange, I feel I gave the best I could to these fascinating developments, and I think it is time for me to use that great experience and turn to new projects and challenges."
Jean-François Théodore, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, NYSE Euronext said: "NYSE Euronext is very grateful for all the achievements Olivier Lefebvre managed to reach successfully since the early days of Euronext. We do very much appreciate the professionalism, dedication and passion he brought to the company."
In replacement of Olivier Lefebvre, the candidature of Bruno Colmant will be submitted to Euronext N.V.'s next Supervisory Board on September 7, 2007 as head of Euronext Brussels, member of the Managing Board of Euronext N.V. and member of the Management Committee of NYSE Euronext. This appointment will also be subject to regulatory approval.
