Moneris Solutions appoints David Magley SVP, regional sales

Moneris Solutions, one of North America's largest electronic transaction processors, today announced that David Magley has joined the executive team as senior vice president, regional sales.

In this role, Magley will be responsible for developing, building, and managing a national direct sales team. This sales channel will deliver a comprehensive suite of payment services to merchants throughout the United States.

"David has a vast experience in working with and building strong, solid teams," said Greg Cohen, president of Moneris Solutions U.S. Group. "David is a fierce competitor and team builder. We are excited about his desire to help us develop a world class sales organization and further strengthen our management team."

Magley comes to Moneris with more than 20 years of sales management experience, and nearly 10 years of experience in the payment processing space. He most recently served as vice president, regional sales for RBSLynk in Atlanta. In that position he was responsible for the development of the field sales organization, executing on sales strategies and adding over forty successful managers. Prior to RBSLynk, Magley held numerous sales management positions with The Atrium Door, Ohio Jambs Inc, and Armstrong World Industries. Magley has a BA from The University of Kansas where he played Division I NCAA basketball and later played four years of professional basketball all over the world.
