Lord Levene, chairman of IFSL (International Financial Services London) has advised that the board of IFSL will be taking steps to recruit a new Chief Executive following the decision of Edward Whitley, the present CEO to stand down from the post after 6 year's service.

It is hoped that a new CEO will be in place by the autumn, and Edward will stay on to achieve a smooth handover.

Lord Levene said: "Edward has done an outstanding job for IFSL for over 6 years, much longer than he had originally agreed to do. He has done so much to build our reputation, and to take us succesfully through a very difficult period into a position of stability and strength. The whole board is most grateful to him".
