Aliperti will manage the HP EMEA Financial Services sales organisation reporting to Jan Zadak, senior vice president Sales, TSG, HP EMEA and he will be a member of the HP EMEA TSG Sales leadership team. Aliperti will continue acting in his role as the managing director of HP Italy and general manager of TSG until a replacement is announced.

In his new position, Aliperti will be responsible for accelerating profitable revenue growth across the entire portfolio of the Financial Services organisation and for providing best in class total customer experience to HP's financial services customers in the region.

HP's rich heritage in the financial services industry is reflected in a significant presence in all the top 200 banks, all the top 50 brokerages, all 100 of the world's major stock and commodity exchanges, and all of the top 25 insurance companies.

Aliperti joined HP in 1985. During his career he covered several positions both in technical and commercial areas, with different responsibilities in various industry sectors and geographical regions. From 1992 to 1997, he successfully managed the start-up and the development of HP's telecoms business in Italy, the most successful area of the company. From 1997 to 2000 he held the position of sales director of HP Italy and then general manager of the Business Customer Sales Organization. In May 2000 he took over the role of vice president and managing director of HP Italy and general manager of TSG.

In addition to his positions, he is president of the board of HP DCS (Distributed Computing Services) and member of the board of American Chamber of Commerce in Italy.
