3Q Solutions, a Dublin-based provider of wealth management solutions announced today the engagement of insurance industry leader John C. Finan as Chairman to 3Q. This Chairmanship is part of the Enterprise Ireland UK Business Acceleration programme which joins 3Q Solutions with an industry expert who will support the company's expansion and developments in the UK.
Irishman Finan moved to the UK at an early age and has been at the helm of some of the country’s leading insurance providers. Amongst his achievements was the turnaround management of Winterthur Life UK, the UK life and pensions arm of Credit Suisse in 1992. He spearheaded the £350 million acquisition of Colonial Life for Winterthur UK. Finan has also directed companies such as NEL Britannia and Pearl Assurance.
He has also had key roles in the European Education Committee and UK committee of Life Insurance Marketing Research Association (LIMRA). Most recently Finan has been commissioned to write a number of articles on marketing and branding in the financial services industry for Lafferty, a European financial services consultancy firm.
Finan also manages his own consulting practice where he sits on various Boards and offers his expertise to young companies. His offering consists of marketing, mentoring, strategic planning, turnaround management, deal making and fundraising.
Finan's main goal in assisting 3Q will be marketing and business mentoring, as well as providing insights into the UK marketplace.

Enterprise Ireland UK introduced 3Q Solutions team to Finan. 3Q has been working with Enterprise Ireland since its founding and has relied on them as it has moved from start-up to growth phase. Enterprise Ireland is a Government agency responsible for the development of Irish Industry. They work in partnership with client companies to help them build a competitive advantage in the global market place.
