CheckFree names Thom Keel SVP, money manager business unit

CheckFree Corporation (Nasdaq: CKFR) today announced that it has appointed Thom Keeling as senior vice president of the Money Manager Business Unit within the company’s Investment Services division. Keeling brings over 25 years experience to the role of managing and growing CheckFree’s relationships with its money manager clients.

He was most recently with SunGard as chief operating officer of the InvesTier business unit within SunGard's Institutional Asset Management Group.

Keeling has a wealth of experience in delivering and supporting advanced technology solutions for the investment management community. He has an established record of cultivating and growing client relationships, enhancing service delivery capabilities and driving product evolution. In his most recent role at SunGard, he was responsible for managing all aspects of the operations of the application service provider (ASP) and software license business.

Prior to SunGard, Keeling worked for FolioFN, as vice president of sales and business development, and executive vice president at MacGregor, responsible for relationship management, professional services and client operations. He also spent 16 years in various positions with ADP including product management, global sales, relationship management and strategic investments. Keeling began his career as a management consultant at Boston Consulting Group.

Keeling earned a master's degree in business administration from Stanford University and received a law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law.
