VSoft appoints Vijay Balakrishnan COO

VSoft Corporation, a global information and technology provider of process improvement solutions for financial institutions, has appointed Vijay Balakrishnan as Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Balakrishnan joins VSoft Corporation from Metavante Corporation where he was Vice President of Strategic Marketing responsible for the brand integration and strategic direction of four acquired businesses (AFS, Vectorsgi, Endpoint Exchange, and Treev) into Metavante Image Solutions.

VSoft Corporation's product offerings and client base of financial institutions have expanded dramatically in recent years. More than 45 percent of the credit union market and more than 1,700 financial institutions currently use VSoft solutions products.

During his 28-year career in the technology and financial services industry, Balakrishnan has developed a truly global perspective, having conducted business in more than 45 countries. His leadership positions include roles at Honeywell, Deluxe Corporation, Equifax, and Alogent Corporation. Balakrishnan holds both a bachelor's and master's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois and a master's of business administration from the Wharton School of Business.
