Standard & Poor’s Equity Research today announced the expansion of its European research team with the appointment of eight new analysts.
The new hires firmly establish Standard & Poor's Equity Research, for many years the leading provider of independent equity research in the US, as the leading provider of fundamental, qualitative-driven analysis in Europe, where demand for independent equity research - free of investment banking and broking conflicts - is growing.
Commenting on the growth of the team to over 35 analysts with more than 200 companies under coverage, Subhajit Gupta, Director of Research at Standard & Poor's Equity Research, said:
"We are delighted to be bringing on board a group of very high calibre people with deep experience. Talent ultimately is one of the key factors that will drive Standard & Poor's success in the independent equity research space; having a top quality team and enabling and empowering them with the tools and environment they need to be successful are the critical determinants of us winning as an organisation."
