"Tracy and Jerry both come to the table with successful leadership experience, knowledge and insight into the financial services space, and a deep knowledge of Microsoft," said Peter Boit, vice president of the Commercial Sector at Microsoft. "They have the expertise needed to drive Microsoft's financial services solutions and services beyond where they are today to satisfy evolving customer needs and demands."

Issel's consistent success has allowed her to rise through ranks of Microsoft talent and demonstrate expertise in the Financial Services Group. Her responsibilities have included services sales and management, and the alignment of technology and industry solutions; in addition, she was regional director of the East Region Financial Services team. Before joining Microsoft, Issel held leadership positions with New Horizons Computer Learning Centers Inc. and Global Resources International Inc.

"I look forward to leading this organization," Issel said. "Microsoft's Financial Services Group is entering a new era that will be defined by the alignment of our investment, resources and industry-leading partners to develop solutions that help our financial services industry customers gain a competitive advantage, improve time to market and reduce costs. Microsoft's investment in integrated innovation is paying off, and it's a great time to tailor the rewards of that innovation to the needs of this industry."

Reiss also is a Microsoft veteran who has achieved success in a number of roles. Before joining the company, he held positions at Digital Equipment Corp.

"The Financial Services Group is about leveraging technology and our partners as assets to help our customers realize their potential in the businesses of banking, insurance and capital markets," Reiss said. "Customers demand and deserve outstanding support from Microsoft, and I look forward to leading our consulting and support professionals as we strive to exceed customers' expectations."
