Capco, the global provider of integrated transformation services and solutions for the financial services industry is pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Bemindt as Chief Technology Officer for the Managed Services business of Capco.
Based in New York, Richard brings to Capco more than 20 years of experience in the information technology industry.
In light of the unprecedented demand being seen by Capco for managed reference data services, Mr Bemindt's hire brings his enterprise software level experience that will enable Capco to meet this increased need. His experience will immediately enhance CRDS's ability to service its rapidly expanding client base that depend upon high quality mission critical service. Today, CRDS delivers managed reference data services to 40 clients globally including 9 out of 10 top tier financial services firms.
Mr Bemindt joins Capco from Applimation and prior to joining Applimation, Richard was the Chief Technology Officer for Petal Computing, where he was responsible for the design and development of the company's multiplatform grid computing products. Richard was also the CTO for IFS where he managed the development and operations of a platform that serviced multiple hedge funds, as well as the CTO at FTI (GoldenSource) where he managed the development of enterprise software products. Richard previously spent 10 years at Computer Associates in multiple leadership positions across product development, product ownership and internal technologies.
