Parlano, the leading provider of persistent group messaging solutions, today named Mark Barlow its managing director, EMEA region.
Barlow is responsible for sales, service and support of Parlano's MindAlign software solutions throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Under his leadership in Europe, the company has become the dominant provider of persistent group messaging software to the region's largest financial services organisations. He manages the EMEA operations out of Parlano's London office reporting to Jay McGlynn, senior vice president of worldwide sales.
Barlow brings to the company more than 25 years experience in software sales, consultancy and software development for financial services. Before joining Parlano, Barlow held management and senior sales positions in Europe and the U.S. at divine, Manugistics, Baan, Platinum Technology and Policy Management Systems Corp.
He studied at St. Paul's School and Manchester University, where he majored in accounting and business finance.
