TradeLink appoints former Nyse Arca executive Matthew Gelber CEO

TradeLink Holdings, LLC, a diversified alternative investment, trading and software firm headquartered in Chicago, today announced the appointment of former NYSE Arca executive Matthew Gelber to the position of Chief Executive Officer.

Gelber most recently served as the Head of the NYSE's derivatives business, responsible for the acquisition and integration of the Pacific Exchange. Prior to joining the Exchange, he held various senior positions at Fidelity including Chief Operating Officer of their capital markets business, and Senior Vice President and Head Trader of a proprietary trading business. Preceding his work at Fidelity, Gelber was also employed with Merrill Lynch Specialists, Inc., Josephthal & Co. Inc., and the Boston Stock Exchange.

Gelber has been actively involved with many of the Options Exchanges, serving as Governor, PCX Inc., Board of Governors and Director, PCX Holdings Inc. and was also as a member of several advisory and market performance committees. Gelber has also served on the Board of the Options Clearing Corporation and several non-profit organizations.

Gelber holds an MBA from the Boston University School of Management and a bachelor's degree in government/economics from Skidmore College.
