Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has hired Andrew Markazi for the newly created position of Sales Director for Capital Markets Solutions for North America.
Based in New York and reporting to Terence Donnelly, head of Banking and Financial Services Solutions, Markazi now oversees U.S. and Canada sales of the group’s capital markets financial software products, including NCS Corporate Actions, Quartz Securities and finDNA, the TCS anti-money laundering compliance solution.
Markazi brings more than a decade of financial software sales experience in Treasury and derivatives accounting, portfolio management, trade finance, core banking and operational risk management. Prior to joining TCS, Markazi led sales efforts at Misys, as well as at GL Trade-owned Ubitrade in Paris, London, Sydney and the United States.
