Transaction Network Services (TNS) has appointed Fintan Byrne as its new vice president of sales for the UK and Ireland.
With a strong payments background, Fintan will take responsibility for bringing TNS' product portfolio together to offer an enhanced value proposition for all new and existing customers.
Prior to joining TNS, Fintan was global marketing director for NCR Ltd, where his responsibilities included leading the marketing team in developing products for the global market as well as working closely with the sales teams on opportunity planning and pre-sales. Previous to this, he spent two years working as business development director at Moneygator.com and 12 years in various roles at the Bank of Ireland.
"I'm looking forward to supporting TNS' customers and partners to add value to their businesses," comments Fintan. "There is a huge amount of value in TNS' proposition, which, thanks to some key acquisitions, is now end-to-end.

Fintan Byrne lives in Dublin with his wife and two children. In his spare time he enjoys outdoor activities with his family and playing golf. He holds a BSc in Computer Science from Trinity College in Dublin and an executive MBA from Smurfit Graduate Business School.
