Clinton joins Fiduciam with over two decades of senior leadership experience across global financial institutions and technology-driven organisations. Most recently, he served as Managing Director of Global Data Services at Confluence. Prior to this Clinton spent nearly 18 years with UBS, where he held multiple Chief Operating Officer roles across various asset classes, encompassing roles in regulatory and operational risk management in the Investment Bank. Clinton is a qualified South African and British Chartered Accountant.

Clinton brings to Fiduciam a proven ability to drive operational efficiency, data-led decision-making, and financial governance at scale. His appointment strengthens Fiduciam’s leadership team as the company is on a strategic drive to act as consolidator in a fragmented real estate direct lending industry.

Fiduciam infrastructure has been supporting lending activities across multiple loan types, geographies and currencies for ten years now. As the scale of the business developed, a local presence has been established across all lending jurisdictions, UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany and Spain. Clinton joining as COO will strengthen the push for scalability, advancing Fiduciam's operational infrastructure, and enhancing control frameworks to reflect the size of the business.

“With Clinton joining us, we bring in the experience and expertise of a seasoned investment banking COO. Clinton and I had the benefit of working together at UBS during some very challenging times for its investment banking division, and his addition to the team will allow me to spend more time with clients and on growing our business. Clinton’s extensive financial and operational expertise, combined with his experience leading high-performance teams in global environments, will be invaluable as Fiduciam continues its growth journey. We are delighted to have him on board.”

“I have been watching from afar as Johan and the team at Fiduciam have been building an impressive business with a strong sense of purpose and innovation. I am therefore thrilled to be joining as Chief Operating Officer to help scale the company further, strengthen its operational foundation, and support its continued growth in the years ahead.
