Her appointment follows Avertis’ triple digit growth and aggressive expansion into new markets.

Jane's appointment is the latest in a number of senior high profile posts for Avertis from the UK banking sector. Former First Direct Commercial Director and Head of Marketing for HSBC, Peter Simpson, recently joined Avertis as Commercial Director, and Former Co-Operative Financial Services Director and National Criminal Intelligence Officer, David Young, was recently announced as Managing Director of Avertis Security Services Division.

Jane joins Avertis from Royal Bank of Scotland Group, where she was Head of Group Financial Crime Operations. She spent 21 years with National Westminster Bank plc, working her way up through various management roles from back office and personal lending, to NatWest Stockbrokers, to NatWest New Issues before joining NatWest Fraud Office. In 2000, the Royal Bank acquired National Westminster Bank, in the biggest takeover in the history of British banking, to create a huge Group with a highly diversified portfolio of services for personal, business and corporate customers. At Royal Bank, Jane's leadership skills and technical expertise in all aspects of financial crime were instrumental in her role as Head of Group Financial Crime Operations.

"Jane has extensive experience in leading and motivating large teams, especially with regards to service excellence, change management and the development of people," said Mark Wilcox, Managing Director of Avertis Ltd. "Her technical insight and advice will be critical on the fraud and money laundering cases we handle on behalf of our banking clients, and her management abilities will be both an operational and strategic asset to our management board and our business as a whole as we continue our rapid expansion and market dominance."

Privately held and funded, Avertis Ltd. is part of the Avertis Group, an independent group of companies. Headquartered in Leeds with global partnerships, the company employs 120 people, including a fully vetted dedicated field force of 100 people recruited from the markets in which the company operates.
