Financial software company Topaz has boosted its enhanced Development Support Team with the additions of Jamie Farrow and Ellie Brasier.
Sunday League footballer Jamie Farrow is now tackling a new role with the Topaz Development Support team after he transferred from his previous position as an IT Solutions Provider with a Derby company to join Topaz, which produces and develops the Topaz Financials software, having previously been a student at Noel Baker Community School in Derby.
Jamie is part of the enhanced Topaz Development Support team following the amalgamation of the combined skills of members of the previous technical and development teams to provide liaison between the support and development staff
The objective is to allow development staff to focus on research and development and support to have assistance with technical support issues. Among a number of exciting projects currently underway are the further automation of upgrades and the expansion of automated testing scripts.
Ellie Brasier, meanwhile, may be a familiar voice to customers but is still a relative new face in the support team.
A budding DJ in her spare time with a number of music courses under her belt and a broad spectrum of musical tastes, Ellie worked in support at Boots Opticians after completing her IT studies at New College Nottingham and then moved on to Boots the Chemist in a HR and Administration role.
Before joining Topaz, Ellie worked in support for ‘Solutions for Accounting’ and specialised in payroll and the CRM software.
