Source Technologies, a leading provider of integrated solutions for managing financial transactions and other secure business processes, has named Bob Karr as director of international sales to expand the company's coverage in Latin America and other international markets.
Karr brings more than 21 years international and domestic management to Source Technologies, including strategic planning, sales development and customer support.
As director of international sales, Karr is responsible for overall sales activity outside of the U.S. Initially, he will be focused on managing and building customer relationships with Latin American banks, credit unions, utility providers and retailers, as well as developing international sales strategies for the company.
"Latin Americans are heavy users of checks, thus the demand for our secure MICR printers and disbursement software is very high among Latin American financial institutions," said Bill Bouverie, Source Technologies' CEO. "Bob brings the ideal mix of international market knowledge and technology expertise to lead the sales initiative in Latin America."
Prior to joining Source Technologies, Karr served as the national sales manager for Toshiba TEC America Retail Information Systems, Inc., where he oversaw strategic planning, marketing and sales efforts for their thermal printer division. In addition, Karr has held roles as executive director, sales and marketing manager for Latin America and regional manager for Latin America throughout his career.
