She will work alongside the founders, Barry O’Donohoe and Ralph Bragg, as the organisation enters an exciting new phase of growth.

Charlotte brings more than 25 years of experience in financial services and technology, including as CEO, Advisor and Non-Executive Director in organisations ranging from trading platforms to regulators to fintechs. She was awarded an OBE in 2021 for services to the financial services sector.

Charlotte is currently chair at The Centre for Finance, Innovation and Technology (CFIT), amongst other NED roles, and was previously Chair and Trustee at Open Banking Ltd, which built the UK’s Open Banking Standard. She was recently named one of the fifty Most Influential Women in UK Tech.

Charlotte Crosswell OBE said: “I am absolutely thrilled to be joining the team at Raidiam, who have been so instrumental in driving forward the open data agenda since delivering the world’s first Trust Framework for Open Banking in the UK. I’ve watched as Raidiam has gone on to accelerate the adoption of exciting new open finance initiatives around the world. The team is now perfectly poised to take a leading role in the next stage of open data innovation, both within and beyond Financial Services, as governments, businesses and consumers increasingly realise the value of the open data economy. I’m very much looking forward to working with Barry, Ralph and the entire Raidiam team.”

The appointment of the first Executive Chair at Raidiam follows a significant period of success for the organisation, having delivered open finance initiatives across the world, including in Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, the UK and the UAE.

Establishing an expanded board is core to Raidiam’s commitment to demonstrating the highest standards of corporate governance, whilst continuing to be leaders in open data sharing innovation.

Barry O’Donohoe, CEO and co-founder of Raidiam, said: “We’re delighted that Charlotte will be leading our board as Executive Chair, bringing her vast experience from across the finance and technology sectors. Charlotte is highly respected and brings a formidable record of leading and advising organisations across the financial services world, as well as being hugely influential on the UK’s technology scene. As Raidiam continues to scale rapidly as a global innovator and exporter of open data solutions, it’s vital we continue to add strength, expertise and authority to our leadership. Charlotte brings this in abundance and we’re extremely fortunate to have her join us”.

Raidiam has added a number of appointments to its senior team during the second half of 2024 and recently launched a suite of specialised advisory services to build on its expertise in designing and delivering world-class data sharing ecosystems. It is expected to expand the board further in 2025.
