EML Payments goes for growth with new executive appointments

EML Payments is pleased to announce three strategic executive appointments as part of its ongoing transformation, which kicked off with the appointment of new CEO, Ron Hynes.

EML Payments provides innovative payment solutions for businesses and governments across 27 countries. Having recently reshaped its operating model to better capitalise on this global reach, these three seasoned leaders will be instrumental in working with Hynes to deliver on EML’s growth strategy.

Global Chief Operating Officer appointment
Bryan Lewis is an accomplished global executive with a track record of developing startups into market leaders. Bryan brings over 25 years of experience in senior finance, operations, and marketing roles, including positions as Chief Operating Officer at eNett International, Chief Financial Officer at Priceline.com, co-founder of Agoda.com, and most recently, Chief Product Officer at Healthcare.com. His experience with leveraging data-driven insights and technology to drive revenue growth will be a fantastic asset to EML through its new phase.

Chief Revenue Officer appointment
Shabab Muhaddes is a talented global executive with significant experience developing businesses and creating new revenue streams. Shabab joins EML from electronic-payment fraud solutions provider, Forter, where he successfully oversaw all aspects of the business’s growth in the Asia Pacific Region. Prior to this, he has over a decade’s experience in sales and partnership roles at Visa and MasterCard.

Chief Product Officer appointment
Tom Cronin brings over 30 years’ of product experience in payments services to EML. He has held a number of leadership positions throughout his career, successfully building and managing teams to drive growth and enhance the customer experience. In his most recent role as Executive Vice President, Customer Solutions at Mastercard, Tom was charged with the overall strategy and execution for Mastercard’s core consumer propositions.
